When is the last time we just stopped and meditated on this truth? God loves YOU!

“For God so loved the world (He so very much loved you, me, everyone) that He gave His one and only Son (would you give your only son to die for the world?), that whoever believes in Him will not perish, but will have eternal life. For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through Him.” John 3:16-17

But life is so hard! There is so much unrest and suffering. Yes – and Jesus is here with us, holding us up and guiding us through it all in this imperfect world. “For we know that suffering produces perseverance; perseverance, character; and character, hope. And hope does not put us to shame, because God’s love has been poured out into our hearts through the Holy Spirit, who has been given to us (to those who believe in Jesus, coming to Him by faith – “whoever believes in Him” John 3:16). You see, at just the right time, when we were still powerless, Christ died for the ungodly. Very rarely will someone die for a righteous person, though for a good person someone might possibly dare to die. But God demonstrates His own love for us in this: while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.” Romans 5:3-8

God loves YOU! What a beautiful truth to meditate on today. Some of these verses we have maybe heard so many times that we just gloss over them. But I pray that we will stop and rest on them today. Rest in them. God loves YOU! And if you haven’t already believed in Jesus, I pray that you will answer God’s call on your heart today. God loves us so very much that He sent Jesus to die and rise again for us – that we may die to ourselves and rise up in Him, ready to follow and live for Him. And find a church that preaches God’s truth from the Bible, so you can learn and grow and be with other believers.

“If you declare with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you profess your faith and are saved.” Romans 10:9-10

God loves YOU!
